Nightcap Rural Land Sharing Communities
A Development Application for Nightcap on Minjungba l was refused by Tweed Shire Council in May 2020 for several reasons, including lack of Council permission for road construction. A new request for permission to construct road access has been submitted by Nightcap Rural Land Sharing Communities Development . The proposal requests permission for road works and earthworks to upgrade the access to the proposed development from Kyogle Road, with associated road works, earthworks and vegetation removal over 11 stages. The current request is only for Stage 1 of the proposed development, requiring access to nine proposed " Rural Land Sharing Communities" with a total of 393 dwellings. Two further access roads connecting a total of 867 dwellings are proposed for future stages. The request will be discussed by Tweed Council in a meeting on September 17.
